AV Project Manager - Snapshot
As Project Manger, you will partner with and lead a small team, including an account manager, designer, and project foreman. The Project Manager is responsible for full cycle project management (pre-sale to system sign-off) of all unified communication projects generated by the team. You'll be responsible for all team scheduling, customer communication, and project coordination. The project manager is responsible for supporting the team and clients needs, sharing expertise, and delivering the best in-class solutions, while focusing on the financial bottom line.
Skills a Project Manager Must Have:
A bachelors degree, preferably in business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of 2 years project management experience in the audiovisual, construction, technology, or another closely related field
Excellent leadership/supervisory skills
Strong computer software skills including MS Office applications, MS Project, or similar project management software. Must also be comfortable learning new systems and applications
Self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality deployment on time and on budget
The ability to work effectively as a team member
The ability to pass a background check
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred, but not required
Professional certifications, such as CTS and/or PMP
A self-starter mindset with the ability to effectively manage tasks and projects with limited direction or supervision
A team-player mentality and the ability to serve as a driving member of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build strong cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
