AV System Engineer - Snapshot
As an audiovisual engineer, you will work closely with the sales and account management team, and be responsible for designing complete unified communications projects on time, within budget, and to our customer's highest satisfaction. On a daily basis you will be accountable for generating and proofing CAD drawings, validating material lists, and creating accurate and complete equipment requests.
Skills AV Engineer Must Have:
4+ years of A/V experience or a strong background in IT
Excellent customer service skills with customer facing experience
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
Solid computer software skills including MS Office applications and CAD
Self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget
The ability to work effectively as a team member
Flexible and creative
The drive to remain current on technology and trends
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred, but not required
Professional certifications, such as CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D
CAD Skills
Strong video, audio control systems, IT and/or networking experience is a plus
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or electronics
